First of all, it is astonishingly disrespectful to address me as “bird guy.” Do not let it happen again. If I am not mistaken, my name translates into “Silver” in your quaint little language. In any case, I believe you are referring to Phantasmagorians. We are those who, in a sense, are stuck in limbo.

Thanks to the ever-skilled mega-bro Cy, the EOI site has a few fixes to make browsing easier for everyone. These include:

All recent updates in groups of 5 per page, for quick reading on the main page.
Ability to read just the pages while omitting journal posts.
Use of the arrow keys on your keyboard to flip from page to page. (May not work properly in chrome.)
Fixed the fullview mode of panels when they’re clicked.
Streamlined automatic archives on the navigation page, for jumping to specific posts.

We will also be implementing a new location for submitting telegrams soon, so they don’t go through Tumblr’s Ask Box feature (which has a tendency to eat messages an awful lot).

This site is always evolving to meet everyone’s needs, so please feel free to email general@endofinfinity.com with any suggestions, to alert us of something that might be broken, or any annoyances.

We unnecessarily made a mess of things. I urge all participants to exercise some forethought when wielding absolute power. I detest such frivolous use of Telegrams. While my boorish colleagues may welcome these antics, I for one find it appalling.

Fantastic. I will need to mend these records. At a later time, though. Maintaining the past is far easier for me than fabricating the future. Besides, I will never forget a single detail of these particular ones. While some memories may leave us after time, others conveniently do not. For better or worse.

I digress.

Well, here’s the first of the Telegrams for the winners of our 50 follower giveaway that recently happened. This manila care package features:

one Telegram (hand-typed on an antique Corona Four-I typewriter),
envelope (with wax seal),
sketch (of a very surprised Jäsz),
and a letter of thanks.

Here’s hoping it reaches its owner safely! This particular one is destined to arrive in Malaysia (wow)! I’ll have the rest done shortly, so sit tight, everyone. The other winners are getting ones just like this.

In other news, updates have been a bit slower than usual because I’m working with the ever-talented Cy on the first of a new kind of update that will be rolled out shortly. I hope everyone will enjoy it.

After an adequate binge, it was time to begin the rounds wherein the newest edition would be brought up to snuff. The forcible switchover of narration found me at the point where nary a scrap was left to add, and some field reconnaissance was in order. My copper-toned soon-to-be protégé made the jump at that point, which was my wonderfully-timed cue to proceed with our rendezvous. The opportunity to procure fresh material was exhilarating, actually.

Any… oh. I have been doing it again. I am terribly sorry. The use of layman’s terms is still so foreign to me. I will try harder. Where was I? Ah, yes.

Any chance to add to my collection is welcomed, but it is a bittersweet indulgence born from necessity; the mortality of the past is frightening. As my collection grows, the older editions often find themselves in danger of being forgotten forever. Basically, the older you become, the more likely you are to be forgotten. Preserving the past is a tiresome task, and sadly, I am only human.

I was awake for nearly two weeks solid. This time was well spent, and contrary to what you must have assumed, was not due to insomnia. You see, I often retreat to my archives to recount the history of this land. Phantasmagoria has a rich heritage; many an escapade has graced the pages of my countless opera, as it is my duty to maintain the records of each notable journey.

(Oh dear. Forgive me, I refer to the pluralization of opus, not musicals typically concluded by divas of considerable girth.)

I would forgo the use of “damaged” in this case, as that would be a grave disservice to this magnificently agonizing demolition. I am in awe. Well done! Please, allow me to relinquish my entire cache of applause.

I will survey the full extent of this travesty at a later time.

While I am at it, I might as well shelf my verbosity for the time being, as it only benefits our mutual ochre friend. Ok, I keep to my word. Let’s do this telegram giveaway.

Winners will receive a custom telegram of their choosing. It can say whatever you want, so long as it fits. These ones, unlike the one pictured below, will come complete with a wax seal, novelty postage stamps, an EOI sketch of your choosing, and will be typed by hand on an antique Corona 4-I typewriter.

One non-tumblr-user winner will be announced on this site and via email on the 31st of January, so get those emails in before then.
