  Gonna still be posting updates via the phantasmagorians tumblr account so you guys can see them on your dash. The difference is that their full glory will be visible on endofinfinity.com rather than one’s dash.

  Basically, this will allow for the implementation of a number of features that will make it much easier to read and navigate.

The first Communal Character Development Document was a great hit. Some people have actually been getting a little creative with it, which was an awesome surprise!

I want to welcome this, because this is what EOI is all about. In fact, I would love to eventually incorporate designs like these as extras in canon. Feel free to send your stuff my way if you ever do, guys!

Getting back on topic, we’ve consolidated enough data to make the next character, Quillén. I’m closing the poll today, and will finalize the design prior to doing the next update. It’s exciting to think of how Quillén will interact with Jäsz and Silver, based on the poll analysis. You guys did good. Real good.

In other news, we have a revamped Telegram system to replace the unreliable use of the tumblr ask box. There isn’t an on/off switch just yet, so please hold off on submissions for the time being. We need to do another segment of plot advancement and character development first.

Lastly, I’ve been contemplating ways to drum up a little funding for this project. Would anyone be interested in Physical Telegrams, original sketches, or other kinds of art? Aside from that, I’ve set up a little donation button right below the site’s navigation bar on the right hand side, for those who are feeling a little charitable.

I’ve been receiving help from a number of talented musicians and code developers who I want to support. While I do work on EOI in my free time, I’d like to fund those who help make it happen. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to do anywhere near as much. An especially big shout out to Cy, who has spent countless hours on the site, game, and miscellaneous coding.

Gonna take longer than expected because I’ve been moving to a new apartment since Friday morning. Here’s a couple teasers.

Thankfully, shitty gif compression limits will not be an issue in this next update.

Thanks to the ever-skilled mega-bro Cy, the EOI site has a few fixes to make browsing easier for everyone. These include:

• All recent updates in groups of 5 per page, for quick reading on the main page.
• Ability to read just the pages while omitting journal posts.
• Use of the arrow keys on your keyboard to flip from page to page. (May not work properly in chrome.)
• Fixed the fullview mode of panels when they’re clicked.
• Streamlined automatic archives on the navigation page, for jumping to specific posts.

We will also be implementing a new location for submitting telegrams soon, so they don’t go through Tumblr’s Ask Box feature (which has a tendency to eat messages an awful lot).
