I’m Cari “MiX” Garafalo.

I like to pretend I’m an artist.
I (used to) do tech support for a living.

I am a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, where I was born one typical cloudy day in December of 1988. I’ve lived in numerous locations within the continental United States. I am currently in Chicago. As of March 2014 I will be relocating to Argentina.

My only formal creative training was at the Oakland School of the Arts, where I spent my Freshman year of High School studying Theater Design and Production. I attended the Utah Valley University for two semesters, shortly thereafter I ran out of funds and went on scholastic hiatus.

I am a member of the AMA and own two RC airplanes. I intend to resume my studies in Argentina with hopes of achieving a Commercial Pilot's License.

I use Ubuntu Lucid Lynx, and am keen on:
- Photoshop CS1/ImageRready
- openCanvas 5
- inkscape
- Pencil
- MyPaint
I do not use flash.
